20160614-B The benefit of an artist residency, as I am experiencing this summer, is the sense of community and exchange of ideas fostered with the artist you live with. We have had many nights sharing stories and views on a variety of topics while watching the night sky, fireflies and the sounds of creatures of the night. These ideas and topics sometimes find there way into work created later in the residency, or much later after the artist involved part their ways to new adventures.
